Mumbai: Actress Bipasha Basu shared a cryptic post in an apparent reply to singer-turned-producer Mika Singh’s ‘starry tantrums’ jibe at her.
Mika, in a recent interview, had threw shade on Bipasha and her husband Karan Singh Grover for being out of work while elaborating on his ‘not so great’ experience of working with the duo as a producer.
In the cryptic post, the actress stressed on staying away from ‘toxic people.’ “Toxic people create chaos, point fingers, shift blame and avoid taking responsibility,” Bipasha shared on her Instagram story.
She added, “Stay away from toxicity and negativity. God bless all. Durga Durga,” along with folded hand emojis.
For the unreversed, in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Mika shared that he wanted to make a low budget film with Karan. He wanted to cast another actress, however, Bipasha insisted on joining the project because of Karan.
Soon, the project titled ‘Dangerous,’ which he was producing turned into a ‘costly and frustrating ordeal’ because of Bipasha’s tantrums.
“Why do you think they’re out of work now? God is watching everything,” he said.
“The shoot was set in London, and the budget increased from Rs 4 crore to Rs 14 crore. And the drama created by Bipasha ensured that I would always regret getting into production,” he added.
“These out-of-work actresses complain about bad luck, but they should learn to respect producers who bring them opportunities. They are your god. They’d rather take minuscule roles in a Dharma film but won’t show the same respect to independent producers, despite getting paid just as much,” he claimed.
