Bhubaneswar: After sweeping the recently concluded elections to three-tier panchayati raj institutions (PRIs), the ruling BJD candidates were elected to all 30 Zilla Parishad (ZP) chairperson posts.
The BJD had bagged around 90% of ZP member posts in the elections whose results were announced earlier. On Saturday, the elections were held for ZP chairperson posts and the party candidates were elected in all districts. Following is the list of elected ZP chairpersons of the districts:
