Extending greetings to party workers on the occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi urged them to come together and work towards further strengthening the pledge to build a ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Viksit Odisha’.

“Heartfelt wishes and greetings to all on the occasion of the Foundation Day of Bharatiya Janata Party, the largest political party in the world. The BJP has turned into a movement across the country with the dedicated efforts of all the members of the Party, from workers to leaders,” the Chief Minister said in a post on X handle.

“Let us work in unison, remembering the unparalleled contributions by all the workers for the party as well as the strong determination and sacrifices of great men. Let us further strengthen our pledge to make a Viksit Bharat and Viksit Odisha,” said Majhi.

Addressing the gathering at the party office, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of connecting with the grassroots and listening to the voice of the common man. He called upon party workers to continue working with humility and purpose, ensuring that government schemes and benefits reach every deserving household.

Speaking at the BJP state headquarters, party’s Odisha unit president Manmohan Samal expressed deep gratitude to the people for their unwavering support, blessings, and faith in the party’s mission and leadership.

He said BJP has emerged as the largest political party in the world, dedicated to the service of the people, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Due to the love, support and blessings of the people and leadership of the PM, the party is now serving the nation as the number 1 political party globally, said Samal.

Speaking on the significant growth of BJP in Odisha, Samal said the party has now crossed a record membership figure of over 40 lakh in the state, reflecting the growing trust and belief of the people in the BJP’s vision and policies.

The state BJP chief stated that the party has now set an ambitious target to double this membership during this current year. The party will further strengthen its presence in every block and panchayat across the state.

The foundation day event witnessed participation from several senior BJP leaders and supporters. Apart from CM Majhi and Manmohan Samal, BJP’s Odisha in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar was also present at the function.

Senior leaders applauded the dedication of party workers and reaffirmed the BJP’s resolve to build a stronger, more developed Odisha rooted in the ideals of nationalism, inclusive growth, and good governance.
