Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday announced the list of its star campaigners for duaal elections in Odisha.
In a letter to the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the chief electoral officer (CEO) of Odisha, Arun Singh, national general secretary of BJP mentioned the names of 40 leaders who will campaign for party candidates in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state.
The list of the BJP star campaigners in Odisha is headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A number of Union ministers, chief ministers and senior leaders have been included in the list.
Among the Union Ministers are Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Smriti Irani, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Dharmendra Pradhan.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sharma are also scheduled to campaign for BJP candidates in Odisha.
Several senior leaders of the Centre including national president JP Nadda besides those of the state have also been included in the star campaigners list of BJP.

Earlier, the BJD had announced its team of star campaigners which is led by chief minister Naveen Patnaik.
