Mumbai: After the recent death threats to Salman Khan from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Salim Khan said it’s a case of extortion and that his son is being targeted for a crime he hasn’t committed.
In an interview with ABP Live, Salim firmly stated that his son is innocent in the blackbuck poaching case as he wasn’t in the car when the animal was hunted down.
Now, an old video has resurfaced in which Salman is also heard saying that he didn’t kill the blackbuck while shooting for ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ in Rajasthan.
However, the actor refrained from revealing the name of the person who killed the animal that day.
In the video clip, which has been shared on Reddit, the actor is heard saying to the interviewer, “There’s a long story there. And… I wasn’t the one who shot the blackbuck.”
When the interviewer asked him why is he not revealing the name of the person who hunted the blackbuck, Salman replied, “There’s no point.”

In 1998, Salman Khan and his ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’ co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Sonali Bendre were accused of poaching blackbucks in Rajasthan.
While the other actors were granted bail, Salman was arrested, then granted bail, then acquitted, then convicted again, and is out on bail now.
If Salman is innocent, then who is he trying to protect in the black buck poaching case?
