Bollywood Celebrities Set Twittter Abuzz With Good Wishes For The Indian Hockey Team
Bhubaneswar: “The showman of Bollywood, Subhash Ghai, wished good luck to the Indian hockey team for the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2018 and wished everyone well for the festivities,” tweeted Hockey India on Tuesday with a video of the popular movie director inviting everyone for the mega event in November.

Twitter has been abuzz lately with hockey related posts. Recently, Bollywood biggie Amitabh Bachchan also tweeted about hockey when the players attended ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. He wrote, “Honouring the Indian hockey team on KBC Karmveer episode .. their dedication, their effort for the country is beyond compare.”

There was a tweet by the National Open Athletics Championship, that kicked off in Bhubaneswar today.
The tweet quoted midfielder Manpreet regarding Odisha Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018. “He expects fans at the Kalinga Stadium to come out in big numbers and cheer the team,” read the tweet.

Men’s Hockey World Cup will be held from November 28 to December 16 at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. With 16 participating countries, this will be an event to remember. The anthem of the tournament has been composed by legends of Indian music, Gulzar and A. R. Rehman, who will also perform live in the opening ceremony.
