That email was also sent to the Tamil Nadu DGP’s office.
The Chennai Police also received a bomb threat call targeting actor-politician Vijay’s residence in Neelangarai last week. The caller, believed to be from Kanyakumari, dialed the emergency number 100 and allegedly warned that a bomb would be planted at Vijay’s home if he conducted any future public meetings. Police later declared the threat a hoax.
