Perth: A stampede-like situation took place in Australia’s Perth after teens went wild as the owner of a streetwear store encouraged people to ‘rob’ it as part of Boxing Day sales. The video of the same has gone viral. As soon as the store opened its shutters on Thursday, hundreds of teens pushed and shoved their way into it the shop named ‘StreetX’. Several fell down and people were pictured with cuts and bruises, The Mirror reported.

Ahead of Christmas, the owner of StreetX, Daniel Bradshaw posted an ad asking people to come down and ‘rob’ his store as he planned to give away hundreds of t-shirts. Bradshaw is known for his unique marketing campaigns.

In one of the videos that went viral, a person was even seen wearing a bicycle helmet and shoulder pads as he jostled to enter the shop. According to reports, no one was critically injured.

The store’s owner claimed all the items for sale were gone in barely 30 seconds, reported the India Today. “We wanted to give our customers something fun. We made the entire store free. There were 400 items to ‘steal’. It was gone in 30 seconds. It was crazy,” he told The West Australian.

“The police came today, and they were fine with it. Touch wood, no one got injured,” Bradshaw added.

Another video on social media that went viral shows people drinking milk and throwing food at each other inside the store.
