Every year, brands and services come out with novel ways of paying tribute to the country and the defence forces and also in the bargain communicate across to the consumer that they have been around for many years.

Independence Day related promotions are also in tandem with the  PM’s clarion call of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

In the video, Angad Bedi, who is the face of the ‘Rakshak’ initiative, salutes army personnel for their courage, selfless resilience and dedication towards protecting the country, while urging them to financially protect their own family and loved ones from unforeseen contingencies, writes FE.

In accordance with its motto of ‘Desh Ki Sehat, Desh Ka Namak’, Tata Salt appeals to the nation to employ healthy practices such as wearing a mask, washing hands and maintaining social distance to fight this pandemic, FE reports.
