Khurda: Excise department sleuths on Friday seized brown sugar worth of Rs 13 lakh from Samantarapur Chhak in Khurda and arrested a person in this connection.
Based on specific information, the Excise sleuths conducted a raid at Samantarapur Chhak and seized 128 grams of brown sugar from the peddler.
A case has been registered in this regard. The accused is currently in police custody.
