Bhubaneswar/Jajpur: Brown sugar worth Rs 14 lakh was seized from Bhubaneswar and Panikoili area of Jajpur district during a raid by the police and excise officials on Wednesday.
In Bhubaneswar, the squad arrested a youth from Haladipadia slum and seized about 45gm of brown sugar worth Rs 5 lakh from his possession.
In Jajpur, the Cuttack Commissionerate police and excise officials arrested a person in Panikoili area and seized 90gm of brown sugar worth Rs 9 lakh from his possession.
