Call Of Corona Duty: This Odisha Police Couple Work Day & Night Leaving 7-Year-Old Daughter Home Alone

Nuapada: Cops Rasmita Nayak and Shesadev Bishi from Odisha’s Nuapada are winning praises for their commitment and sincerity to work.

To attend to COVID-19 duty amid the ongoing lockdown, the couple are forced to leave their seven-year-old daughter home alone all day long.

In a tweet, the Naupada police wrote: “This couple is working day and night for the safety of people of Nuapada leaving behind their kid at home. This couple is an inspiration to many. My compliments to them. #CovidWarriors #OdishaFightsCorona”

Rasmita almost choked while speaking to media and said that they stay in touch with her through video calls. They keep her busy by giving homeworks.

“Because of the lockdown, my mother or mother-in-law could not come to stay with them and look after my daughter,” Shesadev said.
