Paradip: A Panama-flagged cargo vessel sank in mid-sea off Odisha’s Paradip coast on Saturday.
The cargo ship, M/V Ocean Winner, was carrying iron ore and had 24 crew members onboard, most of them Chinese nationals, according to sources.
The ship, which reached Paradip port on August 20, was en route to Singapore when tragedy struck.
The ship reportedly sank 200 nautical miles from Paradip.
The Coast Guard has launched an operation to rescue the crew members.
