Cuttack: Mangalabag police here have filed chargesheet against seven doctors of SCB Medical College and Hospital for allegedly assaulting a lawyer, identified as Sapan Kumar Pal, on October 21 last year.
Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra filed an affidavit in this regard before Orissa High Court after the victim moved the court alleging police inaction.

According to police sources, the chargesheet has been filed in a lower court on the basis of CCTV footage, police sources informed.
Pal was allegedly assaulted by the doctors at SCB where he had taken one of his relatives for treatment. He was heckled by the doctors and confined to a room after he complained about mismanagement at the hospital.
