Chief Engineer Under Odisha Vigilance Lens, Raids On At 10 Places Including Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday raided properties linked to Chief Engineer & Basin Manager, Baitarani Basin, Keonjhar, Kailash Chandra Sahu amid allegation that he accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to a Vigilance release, simultaneous raids are being conducted by teams comprising one Additional SP, four DSPs, seven inspectors, 7 ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Keonjhar, at 10 places in Bhubaneswar, Puri, Cuttack, Jajpur and Keonjhar.

The places where raids are currently on are as follows:

1. Residential Flat No.308 on 3rd floor of Jagannath Mansion at Mouza-Bhoi Nagar Unit 9, Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar

2. Residential Flat No.002 on the 2nd floor, Block-B of Maa Tarini Apartment, Jagabandhu Mohapatra Complex at Mouza-Dolipur, Vyasanagar, Jajpur district.

3. Flat No.1302 on the 3rd floor, Block-A of Dharma Heaven Apartment at Mouza-Puri Sahar Unit-3, Mangalaghat, Puri district.

4. Shop No.4 in the 1st floor of Jagabandhu Bhawan at Mouza-Dolipur, Khata No.260, Plot No.673/933, Unit-8, Vyasanagar, Jajpur Road, Jajpur district.

5. Triple-storyed residential building in Mouza-Mrutyunjayapur, Byasanagar, Jajpur district

6. Two store houses oat Mouza-Begana, Jajpur district.

7. Residential govt quarters at Keonjhar town.

8. Office chamber at Keonjhar town.

9. Paternal house at Ramkapur, Cuttack district.

10. House of relative at Banahara, Salepur, Cuttack district.
