Bhubaneswar: Winter chill is set to make a comeback after a respite for a few days as night temperature will gradually fall across the state in next 3 days.
The regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its evening bulletin on Saturday said the minimum temperature (night temperature) will fall by 3-4 degree Celsius in next three days. There will be no change in minimum temperature thereafter, it added.
The Met office has forecast that dry weather is most likely to prevail in the state in next 24 hours. Shallow to moderate fog is very likely in one or two places of south interior Odisha and Angul, Dhenkanal and Cuttack districts.
The Centre for Environment and Climate (CEC) of SOA said rain and thunderstorms accompanied by hail in western Odisha is likely between January 8 and 10 due to the passing of western disturbance in northwestern India over Odisha. Light rain in the coastal districts is also likely, it added.
