Chill To Return To Odisha, Night Temperature To Fall By 3-5 Degrees
Bhubaneswar: The night temperature is likely to fall by 3 to 5 degrees during the next two to three days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday.
It has forecast light rain or thundershower at one or two places in Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi in the next 24 hours. Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to prevail in Interior Odisha during this period and at a few places in coastal Odisha, Dhenkanal, Angul, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the mercury dropped to 14.5 degrees Celsius in Daringibadi while five other places – Titlagarh (18.3), Jharsuguda (18.8), Sundargarh (19), Phulbani (19.5) and Koraput (19.6) – recorded temperature below 20 degree Celsius.
Notably, the IMD has forecast the formation of another low-pressure area over the Indian Ocean and adjoining south Andaman Sea between November 26 and December 2.
