Kendrapara: A person was injured after a clash broke out between two groups of criminals at Kendrapara sub-jail on Saturday.
The victim identified as Nihar Ranjan Swain belonging to criminal Litu Das’s group was rushed to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.

According to information, a heated argument broke out inside the jail premises between members of gangster Tito and another notorious criminal, Litu Das over sweeping the floor of the jail.
The situation took an ugly turn when members of the Tito group including Sheikh Abdullah, Jahangir Khan and Sheikh Chanor attacked Swain and some other members of the opposite group.
The jail authorities have started and inquiry into the matter.
