Mumbai: The year that is about to pass us by saw several Bollywood weddings, some of them planned and others coming as a surprise to fans.
Let’s take a look at the Bollywood weddings of 2025 that were all about intimacy and personal style:
1. Armaan Malik & Aashna Shroff: Singer Armaan Malik, brother of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ contestant, Amaal Malik, tied the knot with Aashna Shroff in an intimate celebration in Mahabaleshwar on January 2.
They shared stunning photos from their wedding on Instagram, captioned with a heartfelt message, “Tu hi mera ghar (You are my home) 🧡.”
Aashna is a Mumbai-based fashion creator who turned her passion into a career.
2. Aadar Jain & Alekha Advani: Kareena and Karisma’s cousin, actor Aadar Jain tied the knot with childhood friend Alekha Advani in a multi-event wedding ceremony.
The couple had an intimate Christian wedding in Goa in January. Then they got married in a grand Hindu ceremony in Mumbai in February.
The wedding made headlines for several days after Aadar’s wedding speech, in which he spoke lowly about his ex-girlfriends, including Tara Sutaria, and left many disappointed.
3. Darshan Raval & Dharal Surelia: Singer Darshan Raval walked down the aisle with his long-time girlfriend Dharal Surelia, in an intimate wedding ceremony in January 2025.
After the wedding, Darshan delighted fans by posting a carousel of wedding pictures on Instagram, which beautifully captured the love and happiness of the couple.
4. Raftaar & Manraj Jawanda: Rapper Raftaar tied the knot with fashion stylist and actress, Manraj Jawanda in a dreamy intimate ceremony on January 31.
Sharing pictures from the wedding ceremony on Instagram, Raftar captioned the post as, “Officially Mrs and Mr NAIR. Manraj and Dilin.”
5. Siddharth Chopra & Neelam Upadhyaya: Global icon Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth exchanged wedding vows with Neelam on February 7.
Neelam is an actress, who has worked in Telugu and Tamil movies. She made her debut in 2012 with ‘Mr 7’ and has featured in films like ‘Action 3D’.
Adding to the grace and charm of the intimate wedding ceremony in Mumbai was Priyanka and her singer husband Nick Jonas’ presence.
Other high-profile guests included Nita Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Mannara Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, Raghav Chadha, and Nick’s parents, Denise Miller-Jonas and Kevin Jonas Sr.
6. Prateik Babbar & Priya Banerjee: Actors Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee exchanged wedding vows on Valentine’s Day, February 14, in a private ceremony.
In an emotional decision, Prateik decided to get married at his late mother Smita Patil’s Mumbai residence.
The talking point was Prateik’s decision not to invite his father Raj Babbar and his family for the wedding.
7. Samantha Ruth Prabhu & Raj Nidimoru: Amid rumours of dating, actress Samantha Ruth and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru’s wedding on December 1 came as a surprise for some fans.
The duo tied the knot at Isha Foundation’s Linga Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore.
The happy news was shared with fans through a social media post after the wedding.
The couple has worked together in ‘The Family Man Season 2’ and ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’.
