CM Launches ‘Mu Hero Mu Odisha’ Campaign In Cuttack

Cuttack: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday launched the ‘Mu Hero Mu Odisha’ campaign at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in the Millennium City here.

Expressing happiness over the programme, he said Odisha has always been a land of the bravehearts, who have fought relentlessly to uphold the pride and prestige of their homeland.

“The objective of the programme is to identify and recognize the hidden talent of each individual no matter whether he/she is a doctor, engineer, teacher, farmer or a common woman. They are the silent workers and the real heroes. I am happy that there are some achievers who are with us today and I congratulate them. You people are the real inspiration for the society. You are the real change agents. Your concerted efforts will drive Odisha in the path of progress,” the Chief Minister said.

The campaign will be part of the Biju Yuva Vahini, a voluntary programme that aims to promote youth leadership in the age group of 15-35 years at the community level. Youths who brought laurels to the state in many categories will also be recognised.
