Mumbai: After announcing three shows in Mumbai, the British rock band Coldplay will have a fourth show in Gujarat due to unprecedented fan demand.

Coldplay’s fourth show will be held on January 25 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, after the band’s three concerts in Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on January 18, 19 and 21.

Sharing the information about their fourth show, the band wrote on X, “2025 AHMEDABAD DATE ANNOUNCED The band will play their biggest ever show, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 25 January 2025. Tickets on sale Saturday, 16 November at 12 pm IST. MusicOfTheSpheresWorldTour (sic).”

The ticket booking process for the Ahmedabad show will be similar to that of Mumbai. There will be a virtual queue with a waiting room for booking tickets. As the sale goes live, fans will be allotted queue positions through an Automated Queue Randomisation System.

While tickets for Mumbai shows ranged from Rs 2,500 to Rs 35,000, the prices of tickets for the Ahmedabad show are still unknown.

The tickets for the band’s Mumbai show got sold out within minutes, leaving many fans disillusioned.

Resellers quickly took advantage of the high demand and resold tickets for high prices on platforms like Viagogo.

Following this, the Maharashtra Police’s cyber wing issued a directive to BookMyShow to enforce stricter ticket booking rules for Coldplay’s January concerts and other events.
