Condor Unveils New Livery Inspired By Bath Towels

New Delhi: German leisure carrier Condor has unveiled a new striped livery inspired by “parasols, bath towels and beach chairs”.

A Condor A321 (D-AIAD) is the first aircraft to fly in the new livery. Painted in Maastricht, the plane flew to Frankfurt on April 4. The airline name is painted in lower case.

More Condor aircraft will be painted in the new livery in the coming months in five colours — “Condor Island” (green), “Condor Sunshine” (yellow), “Condor Sea” (blue), “Condor Passion” (red) or “Condor Beach” (beige).

Around 80 per cent of the airline’s fleet will sport the new livery by 2024.

The new design will also be gradually used on crew uniforms, the carrier’s website and social media, boarding passes etc. Condor, earlier part of the Thomas Cook group, is an independent carrier now.
