Conference On Women’s Rights & Opportunities In Cuttack

Cuttack: Around 200 women delegates from across Odisha attended a state-level conference on ‘Women’s Right and Opportunities’ here on Monday.

Rashmi Singh was the chief guest on the occasion. “Women should show courage and come forward to fight for their own rights,” she said.

Cuttack Municipal Commissioner Ananya Das, Unicef Odisha Head Monika Nielsen, Prof of Paediatrics Leena Das and Dr Krishna Kaveri Pattnaik attended as guests of honour.

Chairperson, FICCI, Odisha Council, Monica Nayyar Pattnaik was the chief speaker.

There was a panel discussion followed by an open house discussion.

Namita Uttaray performed Odissi.

Three women COVID warriors from the field of health, municipal administration and police were felicitated.

Udaan CEO Geeta Panigrahi conducted the programme.
