Balangir: A constable of Tusura police station in Balangir district allegedly committed suicide here on Tuesday.
The deceased cop was identified as Joseph Kispatta. The body was found hanging in the well on the campus of the police station.
Police have recovered the body and sent it for postmortem.
Though the exact reason behind Joseph’s extreme step is still unclear, sources said he was recently transferred to Deogaon outpost from Tushura, where he was staying with his family.
