Cop Deployed At Anubhav’s Cuttack Residence After Varsha ‘Fear For Life’ Complaint

Cuttack: Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini on Tuesday filed a complaint at Purighat police station here, seeking protection after two persons allegedly entered her bedroom the previous evening.

The actress is currently staying at her husband and actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty’s house at Nandi Sahi here. She alleged that the two men worked for him and barged into her room while she was having food and clicked photographs.

She had also made a distress call, citing danger to her life, and sought for the same on Monday.

Following the complaint, a policeman has been deployed at Anubhav’s residence.

On Monday, the Kendrapada MP had appealed to the media to respect their space and privacy. He asked them not to sensationalise the matter since his father was keeping unwell.

“I want to ask one simple question through you to the honourable madam (Varsha), how is she still staying in my house if my family members are really harassing her. I would request her family to take her home,” he had said.
