Corona Regulatory Committee Calls For Closure Of Business Establishments In Odisha’s Balangir

Balangir: Concerned over the steady rise in COVID-19 cases in Balangir, the newly-formed Corona Regulatory Committee has decided to shut down trading establishments in the district for a week from Friday to contain the spread of the virus.

The committee, comprising members of the traders’ association, political parties, civil societies and the think-tanks, has called for the closure of all trading establishments from September 25 to October 1.

However, medicine outlets, grocery and vegetable shops, fish, egg and meat shops, milk and betel shops will remain open from 6 am to 1 pm and hotels and restaurants from 7 am to 9 pm for takeaway orders.
