New Delhi: Reaerchers at Oxford University have said that a large number of COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals still experience symptoms of breathlessness, fatigue, anxiety and depression two to three months after contracting the virus.
The researchers said this in a statement to list their initial findings on the long-term impacts of coronavirus, news agency Reuters reported.
The statement also divulged that scientists have found abnormalities in multiple organs and believe persistent inflammation may act as a factor for COVID-19 survivors.
