COVID-19 Cases Surge: Mumbai Under Lockdown From Midnight Today
Mumbai: Amid a surge in COVID-19 cases, Mumbai Police has decided to clamp Section 144 in the city, restricting movement and gathering, from Thursday midnight.
Movement of one person or more is prohibited except for the listed emergency and non-emergency services. Movement is allowed for activities exempted in the Mission Begin Again orders dated August 30. The prohibitory orders are for restricting movement or gathering of people in areas under the control of the Commissioner of Police, CNNBC TV18 reported.
