COVID-19: Delhi Reports 348 Deaths, 24,331 New Cases In 24 Hours

New Delhi: Delhi registered 348 COVID-19 deaths, the highest single-day spike in death count, on Friday. The national capital also reported 24,331 new coronavirus cases amid the second wave of the pandemic.

Delhi is the country’s worst-hit city as it has been reporting the highest daily spikes in COVID-19 cases this month. The positivity rate of the city is 32 per cent.

The national capital has 92,000 active cases currently, which is a record too.

Delhi had recorded 28,395 positive cases, the highest single-day leap so far, on Tuesday. The city saw 306 deaths on Thursday, 249 on Wednesday, 277 on Tuesday, 240 on Monday, 161 on Sunday, and 167 on Saturday.
