New Delhi: Television viewership in India has increased significantly, post the novel coronavirus crisis period. According to findings of a report conducted by Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India and data research firm Nielsen, the nationwide viewership has gone up by 40 per cent compared to the pre-coronavirus period.
During the week starting April 11, the number of people who watched TV on all seven days increased to 48%, the report added. The pre-coronavirus period has been referred to January 13 to February 2.
