Bhubaneswar: Director of Public Health (Odisha) Dr Niranjan Mishra has advised people suffering from cold, cough and fever to isolate themselves and get themselves tested for COVID-19 after a recent spike in cases across the country.
Dr Mishra, however, said that there was no reason to panic as out of 10,000 tests only 25 were testing positive for COVID-19 in the state, or a TPR of just 0.05%.
According to him, ups and downs in the COVID infection graph was normal. Somewhere it will go up and somewhere it will go down, he added.
Dr Mishra informed that District Collectors have been directed to isolate persons after necessary contact tracing.
Odisha reported 25 cases on Friday. The state had reported 41 cases on Thursday.
