Hyderabad: After tying the knot in Udaipur last week, actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda hosted a grand reception for their industry friends at Taj Krishna in Hyderabad on March 4.
Taking to their social media handle on Thursday, the newlyweds shared glimpses from their star-studded wedding reception along with a heartfelt ‘thank you’ note for everyone who was a part of their special day.
“The Reception Evening. These past two weeks have been joyous. Every day, every event, every moment, and every person has filled us with love. Biggest hugs and kisses, and our gratitude (red heart). With love, Vijay & Rashmika,” the couple wrote.
The reception video clip showed the bride and groom walking hand in hand as they arrived for the reception and posed for shutterbugs.
The couple thanked paparazzi for their attention and warm wishes during the wedding festivities.
The grand reception was attended by prominent celebrities including Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Nagarjuna Akkineni with Amala Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya, Nani, Sreeleela, Naveen Polishetty and Kriti Sanon.
For the reception, the couple opted for traditional South Indian attire that reflected their cultural roots.
While Rashmika wore an elegant, deep red Mysore silk saree featuring intricate gold zari borders and symbolic Gandaberunda motifs, Vijay complemented her look in a classic ivory silk kurta paired with a traditional veshti and angavastram draped over his shoulder.
