COVID-19 Lockdown: Enough Stock Of Essential Items In Odisha, Says Minister

Bhubaneswar: Allaying the apprehension of the people of Odisha, the state government on Tuesday said that there was enough stock of essential items to last the COVID-19 lockdown period.

Talking to mediapersons here, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain said there is enough stock for a month and steps are being taken to procure more items from the neighbouring states.

The minister further said that 30 per cent of the beneficiaries have already received the advance ration and the remaining will get it within 10 days.
