COVID-19 Lockdown: SAI International Responds To Odisha CM’s Appeal, Reduces 1st Quarter Fees
Bhubaneswar: In view of the hardships owing to COVID-19 lockdown, SAI International School has decided to reduce its first quarter fees.
According to institute sources, parents can also get the fees for this quarter deferred by applying for the same.
The authorities will reconsider fees payment if the lockdown is further extended, the sources added.
On April 10, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had advised all private educational institutions to consider reduction or deferment of fees from the months of April to June. He said that this will help the parents, whose income have been adversely affected because of the lockdown restrictions to contain COVID-19.
On the other hand, the school management has made an appeal to parents to generously contribute to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). The teachers and staff have contributed one day’s salary while chairman and directors have contributed one month’s remuneration to the CMRF.
It may be mentioned here that SAI International is running its regular online classes both for academic and non-academic activities through Cloud School. They are using Zoom classes for virtual teaching.
