Bhubaneswar: The tally of COVID-19 cases went up to 3,22,642 in Odisha on Thursday with 343 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
Also, the state recorded 442 new recoveries overnight and the active case count stood at 3,383.
Of the new cases reported from 25 out of 30 districts, 197 are in quarantine and 146 are local contacts, according to data released by the I&PR Department.
Sundergarh registered the highest of 41 new cases, followed by Khurda (32), Angul (32), Puri (22), Cuttack (21), Mayurbhanj (20), Balangir (19), Baragarh (18), Balasore (17), Sambalpur (15), Keonjhar (14), Jagatsighpur (13), Nuapada (12), Kalahandi (10), Kendrapara (8), Jajpur (8), Jharsuuguda (8), Ganjam (8), Malkangiri (5), Bhadrak (4), Dhenkanal (3), Nayagarh (2), Rayagada (2), Koraput (1), and Sonepur (1).
Besides, the state pool has seven cases.
