Bhubaneswar: A team of officials from the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), police and health departments on Saturday made a surprise visit to five private hospitals in the city to check implementation of COVID-19 guidelines.
According to sources, the team visited Sanjeevani Hospital on Lewis Road, Shree Hospital on Lewis Road, Sun Flower Nursing Home in Budheswari Colony, Sun Shine Hospital in Laxmi Sagar and Neelachal Hospital in Kharavel Nagar.

Earlier, the BMC had issued a fresh set of COVID-19 guidelines to be followed by the private hospitals after it sealed the Blue Wheel Hospital in Mancheswar for violating the state government norms.
