COVID-19: Odisha Gramya Bank Donates Over Rs 15 Lakh To CM’s Relief Fund

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Gramya Bank has donated over Rs 15 lakh to the chief minister’s relief fund to be utilised in the state government’s fight against COVID-19.

The bank’s chairman Mohan M and general manager Basant Kumar Patra handed over a cheque worth Rs 15,25,500 to chief secretary SC Mahapatra, here on Wednesday.

Mohan said considering the exemplary steps taken by the government in fighting the pandemic not only in Odisha but also other states by providing oxygen in time, the authorities and employees of the bank have contributed from their salary to help the government.

Thanking the Gramya Bank officials for their contribution, the chief secretary sought their cooperation in following the COVID guidelines in their offices as well as personal life.
