Bhubaneswar: Amid the COVID-19 resurgence scare, Odisha reported 98 new cases in the last 24 hours.
There has been a slight decline in the number of infections compared to the last two days when the state reported 110 infections on Friday and 120 on Saturday.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 21 districts, 58 have been reported from quarantine centres while 40 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said I&PR department.
Khurda recorded the highest of 15 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (9) and Mayurbhanj (8). The figures in other districts is as follows:

With this, the COVID-19 tally in Odisha has touched 3,38,817. While 3,36,066 have recovered from the disease, the number of active cases is 779.
