Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 patients in Odisha rose to 294 after five more from Ganjam district tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday.
The five male patients with symptoms of the virus were kept in government quarantine centres after their return from Surat, said the I&PR Department in a tweet.
The district administration has begun contact tracing and follow-up action.
The number of coronavirus patients in Ganjam has now gone up to 89.
