Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Monday saw another 581 COVID-19 patients getting cured of the infection, which took the total recoveries to 17373.
According to Health Department sources, the highest of 160 patients from Ganjam recovered from the diseases and are being discharged from hospital, followed by 77 from Khurdha, 43 from Gajapati, 34 from Cuttack and 32 from Malkangiri.
Besides, 25 from Bargarh, 23 from Bhadrak, 19 from Keonjhar, 17 each from Angul and Kandhamal, 14 each from Jagatsinghpur and Sambalpur, 12 each from Mayurbhanj, Rayagada and Sundargarh, 10 from Balasore, nine each from Jharsuguda, Kendrapara and Puri, eight from Dhenkanal, seven from Jajpur, six from Balangir, five from Boudh, three from Deogarh, two from Nabarangpur and one each from Koraput and Nayagarh have also been cured.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 tally in the state has gone up to 26,892 with 1503 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours. The death toll also rose to 147 with seven more patients succumbing to the virus.
