Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 recoveries in Odisha crossed 5000-mark and touched 5189 with 243 patients getting cured of the infection on Tuesday.
According to the Health Department sources, 59 patients have recovered from Gajapati, 41 from Ganjam, 38 from Khurda, 17 from Kandhamal, 15 from Jharsuguda, 10 from Sundargarh, 8 each from Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapada, 7 from Koraput, 6 each from Bargarh and Mayurbhanj, 5 from Jagatsinghpur, 4 each from Cuttack, Malkangiri and Nabarangpur, 2 from Balasore and 1 from Kalahandi.
With 25 deaths and 5189 recoveries, Odisha now has 6822 active cases.
