COVID-19 ‘Super Spreader’ Infects 5 More In Cuttack City, Majority Contacts Of Previous Patients
Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in Cuttack city touched 350 on Sunday with 16 more persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 14 are among those in quarantine while two are local contacts.
Five more cases have been reported from Rausa Patna and all of them are contacts of an earlier COVID-19 patient, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) tweeted.
Except one, all quarantine cases in the city have been infected by previous COVID-19 patients.

These 16 are among the 27 new COVID-19 cases detected in Cuttack district in the last 24 hours, which pushed the affected tally to 1211.
Among these, 16 cases were detected from Cuttack Municipality Corporation (CMC) area, four from Tangi, and three from Banki and one each from Salepur, Badamba, Kantapada and Barang. It also includes NDRF personnel from Barang.
Contact tracing of all positive cases is underway.
With eight deaths and 875 recoveries, Cuttack district has 325 active cases.
