Nayagarh: The COVID-19 tally in Nayagarh district surged to 903 on Saturday with an overnight addition of 40 cases. All the new patients are local contact cases.

Nayagarh district has reported more local contacts in the last few days, according to the district administration.
Of the local contacts, 40 cases were detected on August 7, 61 cases on August 6, 25 cases on August 5, 60 cases on August 4 and 31 on August 3. Besides, 21 local contact cases were detected on August 2.
The administration has not tweeted details of the cases on August 1.
With four deaths and 525 recoveries, Nayagarh district has 372 active cases now.
