Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital on Sunday saw 118 more people testing positive for COVID-19 and another 125 patients getting cured of the infection.
With the new cases, the affected tally in the city further inched toward the 3000-mark.
Of the 118 new cases, 69 are from quarantine and 49 are local contacts.
All quarantine cases are linked with previous positive patients. Seven among them are employees of a private hospital.
Among the local contact cases, five are employees of private hospitals, one of a private company at Infocity and an employee of a media house. One more policeman has also contracted the virus.
Among those cured, 30 are from Mancheswar and four from Reserve Police Colony in the city.
With 18 deaths and 1691 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 1268 active cases.
