Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in the Millennium City breached 1000 mark, touching 1004 on Sunday, with an overnight addition of 55 new cases.
According to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 47 among them are home quarantine and two institutional cases. The remaining six are local contact cases.
As many as 22 of these new cases have been detected from Behera Sahi and 11 from Old Rausapatna, which are under containment zone restrictions. Seven more cases have been detected from Nuapada.
One among the local contact case is also from Old Rausapatna.

With 10 deaths and 551 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 483 cases, the CMC added.
The Cuttack district administration, however, has mentioned about 60 new cases being reported from CMC area in the last 24 hours in a tweet.
