Cuttack: The Millennium City saw 32 more people testing positive for COVID-19, which pushed the affected tally to 398 on Tuesday.
These are among the 84 new COVID-19 cases reported in Cuttack district in the last 24 hours.
Among them, 21 cases have been detected among those in home quarantine, five from institutional quarantine and one from paid quarantine. The remaining five are local contact cases.
While 18 new patients have contracted the virus from previous positive cases, four have recent travel history to Nagaland, Sikkim, Kochi and another district in the state. Five more patients/attendants at the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here have also tested positive for the virus.
The local contact cases are from Tanti Sahi, Bhagatpur, Kaibanta and Kaligali in the city.
The Cuttack Municipal Corporation has also tweeted about eight more patients recovering from the infection.
With eight deaths and 225 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 165 active cases.
