COVID-19: This Area In Odisha’s Balasore District Declared As Containment Zone
Balasore: Following the detection of 11 COVID-19 cases, Brahmanda gram panchayat under the Basta block in Odisha’s Balasore district was declared as containment zone on Monday. The restrictions will remain in force till midnight of August 27.
Containment Zones:
- Near Khatua House (Entrance)
- Baguda Sahi last point
- Railway gate southside
- Chakradhara Parida house Chhak
Barricades have been put up in the area to restrict people from entering and leaving the area.
Residents have been asked to strictly remain at home. All shopping establishments, government and private institutions within the boundary of the containment zone will remain closed. There will be no vehicular movement.
The supply of essentials and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by the block administration, an official notification said.
