New Delhi: With the single-day surge of 86,961 COVID-19 cases, India’s affected tally went past 54 lakh mark to stand at 54,87,581 on Monday.

About 1,130 more patients succumbed to infection in the last 24 hours, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed.
