Bhubaneswar: Two more persons succumbed to coronavirus in Ganjam district on Friday, taking Odisha’s death toll to 29.
The Health and Family Welfare (H & FW) Department identified the deceased as two men aged 66 years and 40 years. One of them was also suffering from hypertension and the other was suffering from diabetes.
They died while undergoing treatment at a COVID hospital, the H & FW Department informed.
Ganjam has been the worst-hit district by accounting for 19 deaths out of the total 29 in Odisha. The virus has also claimed five lives in Khurda, four in Cuttack and one each in Puri, Angul, and Bargarh districts.
