Bhubaneswar: The rate of new COVID infections among children in Odisha dropped to 15 per cent on Tuesday as against 20 per cent on Monday.
The infection rate among children and adolescents was 16.27 per cent on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Odisha reported 638 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours. Among the new cases, 93 are in the age group of 0-18 years.
The daily infection count was 609 on Monday and 719 on Sunday.
According to the I & PR department, 372 new cases are from quarantine and 266 are local contacts.
Among the districts, Khurda registered the highest of 245 new cases followed by 66 in Cuttack. Nuapada and Kandhamal reported nil cases.
